We’re a purpose-driven, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to improving outcomes for children through an unwavering commitment to high-quality practice, at our own services and across the sector.
We’re known as a place for demonstration. We translate theory into practice, share our learning, and shine a light on best practice. We support educators and leaders to develop their capabilities and confidence through coaching, mentoring, and blended learning programs that enable them to explore new ideas, learn by doing, and reflect on what they learn.
Children are at the centre of everything we do. At our early learning services, we create environments where children connect with Country, take part in their communities, and are active in their own learning. Our centres are located in the City of Geelong, City of Hume, City of Maribyrnong, City of Melbourne, City of Wyndham, City of Yarra.
Through Gowrie Victoria’s Registered Training Organisation (RTO), we offer courses designed for different stages in your ECEC career, whether just beginning or looking to progress into leadership roles. Courses are delivered inside a real, high-quality ECEC service at Gowrie at The Harbour in Docklands. We also offer traineeships with wrap-around mentoring for those entering the profession.

With over 85 years of contemporary thinking, Gowrie’s vision is that all children thrive.
The Gowrie organisations are known for high-quality early childhood education and care, adult education and professional development and advocacy.
Founded on the core values of inclusion, relationships, partnerships and child-led learning, each organisation uses a collaborative and reflective approach to improve practices. The heart of Gowrie Australia has always been its people and culture, with a strong emphasis on development and ongoing learning.

Gowrie Victoria is an Early Years Management (EYM) organisation working at the heart of Victoria’s early childhood reform, driving the transition toward a more integrated, sustainable, and high-quality sector.
We provide professional leadership and centralised management for participating kindergarten and early learning services, drawing on our long history and expertise in child-led learning, focus on high quality, governance and management, networks across the ECEC sector and strong relationships with the Department of Education.
We remain focused and committed to increasing our impact by growing our diverse portfolio of programs and services, and directly supporting more teachers, educators, children and families.
Gowrie Victoria is interested in supporting kindergarten and long day care services that aspire to exceed quality. We are especially interested in services on or near school sites and regional early childhood hubs with potential to deliver our adult learning programs alongside the management of services.
Collaboration is in our DNA. We partner with many organisations who share our goals so that our combined effort and experience have greater impact. We build relationships with other organisations to work together on projects that improve outcomes for children and families.
We’re especially interested in partnering with organisations focusing on demonstrating high-quality pedagogy and practice, improving access to and participation in high quality education, and building the capability and confidence of the early childhood workforce
